Ramp Champs

Although many of the Interact Club members were engaged with other activities, eleven members volunteered to join members of the Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi in building wheel chair ramp for an elder couple Saturday morning. Just awesome -- in three hours the task was completed.

Habitat for Humanity

November 20

Our most recent project was volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Corpus Christi. We helped at the construction site of a house being built in honor of Pope Francis. The house is funded by an anonymous donor.

XO Tablet Fund

May 4


The XO Tablet fund rasier for children of poverty in Guatemala was a huge success. Our club is coordinating the gift of more than twenty educational tablets to under priviledged children in Guatemala.


In October we received some photos of the children opening the XO Tablet boxes. See the video below with an overview of our project and the photos.

Teddy Bears for the Ark

April 15

The St. John Paul II High School Rotary Interact Club accepted the donation of a collection of 50 teddy bears from twelve year old Hailey Canales. The Interact Club found a new home for the teddy bears at The Ark Assessment Center & Emergency Shelter for Youth. In the photo above are Hailey (center) and a few members of the Rotary Interact Club (left to right) Theresia, Ileene, Tabitha an Sabrina. The Ark, a nondenominational facility, began as a project of the Missionary Sisters of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. For more information about the Interact Club and the Ark follow the links below.

Inaugural Installation

March 30 / 6:00 p.m.

Inaugural Installation of St. John Paul II High School Interact Club and Charter Members. The ceremony will be hoste in the St. John Paul II High School cafetorium.
